No, not really ford bashing per say, however the modular in all iterations is slow when stock. Hell ford had to use an eaton just to make the damn thing make decent horsepower in the 03/04 cobra. The rest of them, including the new 3v modular, are slow. And when was the last time Ford was able to make a gasser that put out 400hp without forced induction? JMHO.
Incedentially I have killed an S197 GT with our powerstroke - in stock trim. That 4x4 boosted launch is tough to beat.
Lastly I was in no way trashing this thread. I merely complimented the dude on his ride, shot down a steroetype and educated the same member on the LS1vsLS2 debate. Which btw the driver makes more of a difference than the engine does.

I'll have you know EVERYTHING done to my truck was from MY money, which was from MY hardwork, during MY tours in Iraq, protecting your dumbass, as well as here in the states. I would get your facts straight and think about what you are going to say before you post some stupid a$$ post as you just did.
Thanks for the compliment on my truck though...but you're way out in left field when it comes to your statements I quoted above...

Reading comprehension PWNS you.

Reread my post. I challenge you to find were I accused YOU of those things. When you reread my post you will notice that I stated, AROUND HERE, referring to my geographic location, SRQ, FL that that seemed to be the case. Case in point: On my 0.2 mile long neighborhood road I can count 4 lifted diesels whose owners are under the age of 20, who had those trucks GIVEN to them.
You're welcome for the compliments and thanks for your service.
