He pulled up next to me at the next stop light...long story short...he lost. HAHAHAHA. I got him off the line and he didnt have a chance!

Now on to the GTO...this one isnt really a kill...although it could be. Anyway...leaving base today there was a gray GTO about 2 cars back...I noticed his girl pointing at my truck and pretty much gawking. Well when we got the green I went on like normal...doin about 60, and this dude decides to weave in and out of traffic to catch up with me...then he tailgated me...I mean, my mirrors are always extended and I STILL couldnt see him in my mirrors. So I smoked him out...he got pissed and goosed it as I pulled away from him...he goes in the other lane and has to slam on the brakes because of traffic...so he tries again..each time I smoke him out. Eventually I layed into it and left him in the dust. Once he weaved in and out of traffic again he did a RICER PASS!!! YES! A RICER PASS on me! Go figure! Oh well...Still countin it as a kill...

Good kill on the modular - however you could have beaten him when your truck was bone stock.

And perhaps the GTO was merely trying to get someplace in a hurry? Just because someone drives quickly doesnt mean they are challenging you....

I like your truck - looks mean as hell!

Do I sens some hating? I don't like generic motors. Or cavaliers with V8s but i will not trash some body's thread so i can brag. Just cause you drive a generic motors product doesn't mean a stock truck can kill a modular as you put it.

NICE KILL's

i have beaten a LS2 GTO with my LBZ Duramax and that was from 70MPH to 115MPH..they aren't that fast and i have a friend that has one local here also with the LS2 that only wishes he could run with our diesels..the GTO i would have is a LLY Duramax power one so i can smoke the rest ofem and get 30MPG doing it.

As far as being "fast" that's a catagory reserved for the ZR1 and Z06 - however the GTOs (both LS1 and LS2) will run 12s bone stock with a competant driver. I know, mine has been well into the 12s on several occassions with what is essentially a stock vehicle.
First of all, I'm not making up for something by "lifting my slow truck"...I did it cuz I like the look...Second of all, these "slow trucks" could dominate a number of supposed "fast cars". And third of all, "kids playin with daddy's money" is an asinine statement. I'll have you know EVERYTHING done to my truck was from MY money, which was from MY hardwork, during MY tours in Iraq, protecting your dumbass, as well as here in the states. I would get your facts straight and think about what you are going to say before you post some stupid a$$ post as you just did.

Thanks for the compliment on my truck though...but you're way out in left field when it comes to your statements I quoted above...
