6.0 vs GT

my buddy has a convertible 5 speed 04 mustang GT and he's always out beatin on it looking for people to race. one day we met up for lunch at a little mom and pop cafe and i was thinkin one step ahead as we went to leave (locked my hubs just incase) as we're leaving of course he peels out sideways in front of me and jets down the street. so im thinking this is the perfect time to do it with all the snow melted so the ground is a little wet and him having a 5 speed i knew he was going to blow the tires off. we get to a red light and we both know what the plan is. i start spooling up in 4 hi and he's got his rpm's sky high and when the light turns green we both mash it, he dumps the clutch just like i thought he would and his a.ss end goes all over the road. i just left him like he was sittin still i've been in his car and its pretty quick and i know it pulls harder than my truck but boy was it nice to put about 3 or 4 truck lengths on him. as soon as he caught some traction it was time to shift so he had to come off the throttle and there was just no way he was catchin me. i gave him about a months worth of sh.it talkin and he still has about 15 excuses, it was fun to say the least.

i actually dont know whats dont to my truck. i didnt buy it from the previous owner so i had no history on it. i know it has a 4 inch turbo back cat delete and when i bought it the trim piece where you hang gauges was missing so im guessing there were gauges there and he took them. i would assume it has a tune cuz it runs damn good but nothing major because it doesnt have head studs... about all i know, synthetic oil if that counts lol.

This interests me as well. My sister and Brother-in-law just bought an 08 Mustang Convertible GT. They just put Roush dual exhaust on it ( sounds sweet), he is planning on an intake, and probably getting an SCT to tune it as well. I don't see us dragging at all, but, just in case, I need to be ready

its an 03 ext cab short bed 4X4 truck. i heard before the 03 (10 fin is it?) turbos make 10-15 extra hp over the 12 fin 04-07 turbo but im not sure just somethin i heard. and the bier guy if it were a fair race (not raining/him knowing how to ride a clutch) i would assume i'd lose cuz his car pulls pretty good. puts me in the seat harder than my truck does atleast but no way to tell 100% unless we ran em again.
