hey Dave..i replaced glow plugs and relay switch on the 92 7.3L IDI sevaral times but i can't get my twin brother to understand that they still need plugged in when its cold and ether ruins the glow plugs so i quit replacing them and just letem start it however he can..he is a hard headed kid,why couldn't he be more like me..lol we had to replaced the oil pan do to him runnin signs over and if that wasnt bad enough to top it off he drove the truck 12 miles with no oil and she still runs today with very little knocking..i was impressed.also not sur how but his Duramax holds up to his stupidity somehow.. enough with the ranting. i kinda figured that you all were just meesing around,sorry i shouldn't have been so harsh about it.. |

depending what year Dmax you get you can save bigtime on a tranny build,the 6SP need very little work to handle 500RWHP,mainly a good TC from SunCoast and a good kit that will cost you a few hundred bucks. with the right tuning,lift pumps and tranny upgrade you can easily run high 12's in a CC SB. EFILive tunes will cost you $750,tranny uograde(my kit)cost less then $2000 and lift pumps around $500 or so. |
