Teaching her a lesson
My Girlfriend has a 94' Grand Cherokee with the high output 4.0L & a 5 speed
She's quite the spirited driver (and mildly competitive) and whenever we happened to be going the same place in two different vehicles it always turned into a friendly little race. Her Jeep moves out pretty good with that setup and back when my truck was stock (just the exhaust & air intake mods) I'd have to beat on it pretty hard to even keep up with her Well last night she took off through town like she wanted to race, so i left the truck in low setting & mashed it I caught up with her so fast I likely would've rearended her had it not been for the ABS Then she hit the highway & tried to take off again As anyone with a cranked up diesel knows, where they really shine is at the higher speeds where a gas engine runs outta grunt I just played with her at that point, running up to her bumper & backing off as if she was some blue haired church girl anoyying me on Sunday morning (we were running about 85+ mph by now) till she gave up & slowed back down to the speed limit So we get to the house & she says to me "guess I'm not running away from you to hide anymore, that thing runs great!" (she used to run up the road aways & hide then come out behind me flashing her lights - LOL) My response was simply "Heck, I didn't even have to switch it up to extreme" Heh, heh, heh, heh
