Killed then got killed... in a funny way
Alright so yesterday was the perfect definition of irony. I was on 35 ramp getting onto 675 to pick up Jaimie (my gf). There was a all juiced out POS Sebring in the lane next to me on the ramp, and he was trying to pass me. FIrst, its unsafe to pass on a bridge on ramp in cold weather, especially next to a 8,500 Pound Truck. I look over and its some stupid looking punk with his hat sideways and one of those stupid mustaches. I had the windows rolled down cause I rather listen to my motor than the radio. I hear him step on it, so I romp it to the wood. All I can hear after that is turbo
and I just blow right by him. So I'm juiced up.Jaimie and I went to the supermarket and got some soup... we get home and its a new can of soup with a little pop tab that you use to open it with. (You should know where this is going) Anyway, as soon as I pull up on the lid, slice there goes my f******* finger. All the way to the bone. Gross. I def needed stiches in it, but as I was raised by my Dad, black electrical tape it does wonders. I could still see all the muscle and bone this morning, but I think it finally closed up a bit. Went to the Dr... I have permanent nerve damage to the tip of my finger and will be numb forever! lol Kind of some weird irony!!!

6200 thats it? Maybe the scale I was on was broken. I was around 7400 with my king cab long box. Only thing different I had was super swampers and I am about 160 lbs.
Then again... Door jam GVW says 8700.. who knows. Watch those fingers man, u need'em |

UPDATE
The GVW sticker in my truck says 8,800LBS, but I drove to the dump a few times with it and you have to weigh in and weigh out so they know how much you weigh. Everytime I leave with my truck empty, like I mean empty, I keep nothing in the cab but me and I'm only 180 LBS, and the truck always comes out at 8,450 LBS. Anyway, about my finger; it for sure needed stiches, but I wrapped it up in black tape I took the tape off yesterday and its almost sealed up, but the area around my wound had no blood. So I went to the doctor today and he told me the tape was a great idea if I didnt want to get stuck with thread (who woulda thunk?) but he said the way it looked on an x ray is it cut all the way to the bone and took a tiny tiny piece of bone off, so he said I cut a bunch of nerves that may never repair and my finger might be permantly numb. Great lol at least its still attached!

I was at a scrap metal yard and weighed the truck with metal then how much was dumped. But they could of adjusted the scale in their favour.

True, very true. I also weighed mine at Kil-Kare once and it read the same give or take a few pounds. Old trucks just made of 100% steel, none of that plastic crap lol
