Weekend Adventure Gone Bad

Well we were out camping and decided to hit a couple trails. I guess the couple of cold ones we had and the women in the back cinvinced me that this swamp was no match for my Diesel Excursion. Keep in mind this truck is lifted 10 inches on 38's. To make a long story short I sunk it saturday night at 8 and we didnt get it out untill the Duece and a half came at 3 sunday afternoon. My rig sunk to the frame and then the muck in the bottom of the swamp suctioned my tires in. No other truck could pull it out. When that duece started pullin i didnt think the truck was gonna come out in one peice. Any way now i have a reason to build the truck. I just ordered everything I need to do a manual conversion with a zf6. I know right a Diesel excursion with a stick. It's gonna be pretty awsome. Check out the pics.

I got it from a salvage yard in new york. I also got the correct steering column and cluster from the same place. $1500 for that stuff. Then I ordered the pedal assembly and all the hydraulics set up from ford.

Kudos

Tell me if I'm crazy, but even though he got stuck, is anyone else out there relieved and proud to see a nice built up powerstroke SUV that someone is actually willing to USE instead of just a driveway queen? When you vaccuum that thing out, vaccuum with pride son, you've earned it!
