2 lightnings,a vortec max and a reg cab chevy

i was leaving the local drag strip earlier and there were 4 guys in reg cab trucks and they are all noise makers (they make alota noise but dont move lol) and they were doing about 20 ond blocking the road so i got behinf them and tried to get them to see that i wanted to pass but they wouldnt let me so i got kinda frustrated and clicked it up to extreme (triple dog) and got ready to take my first chance top get around them and i took it without hesitation and blew around them and filled 2 of them with black smoke
i slowed back down to the speed limit and here they all come again so i jumo back on it when they get close and they all tried to catch me and couldnt i switched on the hazards and kept going untill the speedo pegged and shut off (is it supposed to do that) and stayed away from them when i got off at the next off ramp there was a state trooper going the other way with his lights on and im assuming he was goign after them so much for those superchargers lol and all our truck has is a drop in afe and the triple dog what could i have done with custom tunes???

really thats all you got? id of xpected more fromt he lightinings.... the vortec idk. eithere waynow im excited to get my afe stage 2 that should be coming in this week.! sweet!

Were they the OBS lightnings? I have a hard time believing that the newer lightnings wouldn't at least keep up. I could be wrong though, I have never driven or raced one. I have heard that they are pretty quick though.

Thats believable then, I ran a tripledog before I got the SCT and truth be told prob makes more power than most SCT tunes, tranny shifts like its possesed by a demon, but makes good power.

Well he is claiming only the triple dog and afe intake..........

like i said, id expect more from lightnings but if he did beat, more props to him. Ive never raced a lightning.

i drive an 03 lightning and i dont think the Ls where trying to keep up with him. theres no way he would just walk away from them.
