truck,2005 LLY 3500 DRW Duramax with a built tranny and tuned by me with EFILive,the victim a 2005 Kawie(i think)but anyhow it was 1300CC bike and from a dig to 105MPH i had 6 truck lengths on him much to his suprise so that wasn't good enough so we did a rolling run from 55MPH and got roughly 1-2 truck lengths or so by 105MPH..


my bros truck,2004 LLY reg cab 3/4 LLY Duramax tuned by me and a 2007 6.0L CC SB Harley Davison with the canned Performance tune from SCT and i know that for a fact since i tuned the truck myself before the race and my bros LLY beat him baddly,i mean it was humilating to watch..
my next question should the performance setting smoke or is it smokeless and how fast should that make a PSD run?
the reason i posted this is i'm new to the SCT stuff so maybe someone can help me out.

your duramaxes would be sweet to have! i would trade a stroke any day on a d-max. and efi live is the bomb on them!!!!!!!!!!!!

the one thing i'll say for the 7.3L PSD is they will last a lifetime,dad has one with over 400,000miles on it and it still fires right up but other then that the Duramax makes power easy so thats why i wouldn't have a PSD.

how far can he push that 6.0L before heads become an issue?

30lbs boost for not that long but i still know people lifting the heads like nothing on them... and others that dont have a prob. all my buddys have some "hot" running d-max's i love them i want one sooo bad. but the 7.3's last for ever i think plus at 16 the money thing dont work very well. and im not a mommy will you buy this for me type.
