24v Cummins vs 04 6.0

So a friend of mine has a 99 24v Cummins, he talks a whole lotta smack on the 6.0. I raped his truck in my (old) 12 Eco F150, (ran 12s), So far he has a S366, 8x.011 injectors, edge comp box, ats manifold, pusher intake horn, and a cold air and exhaust. My 6.0, doesn't have much done, banks CAC pipe and elboe, IDP tunes (anarchy), down pipe, 4" straight pipe, S&B CAI, Blue spring, deleted and studded, and getting PHP FICM tunes. I was just wondering how the race would go. Lol. We r going to do it this week.

I cant comment too much on this, but i had a buddy thats a diesel mechanic. He has had a couple cummins trucks that looked like old farm trucks and he spanked v8 camaros and mustangs all the time with em. Im not sure what all he had in the motor though.

I would not be shy to try. I never drive anarchy tune from idp but I sure think its fast, I have the street tune from gearhead and its move.

A friend of mine have a 97 12v, with the pump tricked dont know how and stock I past him but nkt easyly. With the new tune he isnt in no more.

Dont know how a 24v moves with injectors and all but a another friend of mine have a 00 "chipped" and DAMN ITS SLOW ! More slow than my old 7.3 i think lol

And, its a dodge so propably manual ? If it is, you have a big chance on your side unless he shift crazzy.

Edit. Dont forget boosted 4wd lunch

Well his truck really doesn't seem as fast as he says it is. Its not slow, but he only runs low 14s, and he claims to have 700hp, (which I think is BS).

Ya, idk much about cummins, but for the amount of crap done to it, it doesn't seem lije it'd be 700hp worthy lol

Some people don't grasp the amount of money it takes to make ANY vehicle put that much power to the ground.

I have a buddy with an '01 24v, his truck is "technically" being built as a DD sled pulling truck. He has all sorts of engine mods (fueling, ect.) with a dual disk clutch (don't know all the specifics) but my '04 ECLB 6.0 with the mods in my sig, on extreme street walks all over his truck. I chased him down like no problem when he had a head start from a stop sign.
