Hunting a Duramax
Let me know if I have a shot.
So I have seen this guy cruisin around in a Red CC 2500 d-max. My buddy said he's got banks duals. I'm no sure what else he is running in it. Assuming it's just got the exhaust and an Intake. You think I can take him? Should I wait till I put the edge juice with attitude and my new exhaust in? I'm kinda itchin to take this guy I keep seeing him around. |

I drive a Red Duramax
Stacked programmer and module, duel mbrp exhaust, AFE intake, race tranny, lift pumps, etc..........no chance in taking it, whoops, I'm in Texas not New York, you must be talking about another red crew cab duramax. Good luck in racing him, a lot of the 04 & up duramaxes have gone to EFI Live Programming which will make them very tough to beat, a lot are running in the 10 - 11 sec. range right now. Let me know how it goes if ya'll line up.

Being there is only a few 7.3's in the 11's and even fewer 6.0's in the 11's I doubt we can touch EFI live. Since there are NO powerstrokes in the 10's, that won't be touched! Chevy's are like ethiopian runners vs bill goldberg in a 1/4 mile... They weight ALOT less and have more advanced technology in their engines. About the only way you're going to touch him is if he isn't chipped and you are... If he is chipped you'll need injectors and probably a turbo, and if he's got EFI you'd better go the whole 9yards... ok i'll stop. |
