Sad to report the death of a Tiburon GT. lol

Last night on the way to Hooters for a small Shop get together from work, I asked one of the new kids if he thought his Tiburon GT with Intake, Ricer wheels, and exhaust thought it could hang with the ol 7klb rig. He chuckled and said ok lets go. I told him to stay on the driver side cuz she puts a lil smoke which made him say "so u think your gonna win". lol The wife was with me and another guy was in his passenger seat video taping(yes, Im definately gonna post it: ). When we finally caught a red light, I threw her in 4hi and he rolled over the line and ended up starting with a half length headstart(didnt matter). From watching the video, it looks at me, light turns green and when he launches the video droops to the floor for a sec. or so then looks up to see a trail of smoke of about 8 lengths and counting. When he got beside me, he says he spun alot so we go from a roll and the lengths still just stack up....He accepts defeat: )

OK, a Tiburon!!! that thing couldnt get out its own way even with mods!! You just wanted to humiliate a guy who bought Korean didn't you?? We have no fear from North Korea if their missles are anything like their cars!! I can't talk too much, I get those mean streaks in me from time to time!!

That's awesome. My girlfriend knows some fool with a Tiburon. It's so gay, i've seen it a few times. The body kit on it is horrible...if you look at it from the front or the back the wheels/tires are tucked in the body kit what looks to be a half a foot. I can't wait to see this moron out on the street and get a light with him.

Not to say its fast by any means, but they come w/ 180 or so hp stock. Thats alot more than can be said about alotta civics, preludes, celicas, integras, and etc.

But what do they weigh?? like 5lbs. i dont think the 180 hp would work in anything heavier, you could make a lawnmower do the same. just ask the E. germans when they made the trabant, (except they only went 25mph.) they did have a lawnmower engine in them. not alot of hp but they did run. and probably longer than a hyundia anyway nice kill either way
