Ok Buddy the BS can stop now

ok so im just go done eaten at McD's and we are in the parking lot talking when this dude comes up to me and was like."so what you got done" looking at me i was like a K&N filter and wal-mart tips.. he said "haha funny really i got a power-stroke with a little something" i was like OH REALLY well he was telling me how Banks made him injectors, and he has a Holset h78 turbo. i was like wow nice any studs for that head? "oh yeah 5/16 studs i can't tell you every thing" i was like ok well what does it run finally i got 13.89 out of him.
i was like all on a stock trans and PMR wow kids now days


oh yeah it was on a 7.3

OH at school I can't tell you how much I giggle hearing "well a duramax this" and "Banks this or Bullydog that" Everyone asks me or tells me "Banks, banks, banks" or "K&N filter this" PSH I look 'em right in the face and say "A duramax has aluminum heads on a 19:1 compression ratio engine, and pistons that can't hold a hot 578hp" and "Banks sucks." They look at me like I'm crazy. It's hilarious. A buddy of mine blew his "dirtymax" UP. It has 36,000 miles and needs a new block......... He knows what's up. He now drives a Cummins, and is a closet Powerstroke fan. It's sad really. I'm so glad I found the org! SO glad!


Your story reminds me of a guy doggin on Ford in class one day. Tellin me a story about how this guy had a Powerstroke and modded it ALL up with Banks crap. Chip, turbo, intake, exhaust ... Whadid he do? Blew the heads right off that sucker. I rolled my eyes and said "Oh really, did he do anything besides the Banks sh!t?" Nope. "Oh, what year?" 2004. "6-liter then huh" Yep, he was pushin like 36psi. "WELL NO WONDER, the dipsh!t didn't stud it did he?! Oh it must be cause it's a FORD... BS it's a mindless fool drivin it tell him to buy a Duraturd instead." It's frustrating aint it.

Old Truck: 00 F350 XLT DRW: basic first few mods. S&B, 4" straight pipe, gauges, CCV, EBPV and Wastegate line deletes, LED Sills, sweet custom headlights, smoked cab lights, Ventshades, Tint.
Traded in at 196k miles.

"Brand Newish" Truck: 02 Chevy S10 2.2L 5sp. Reg cab 4x2. Badass custom made shifter, foglights, 20% tint, AVS Vent-shades, Stock Intake mods, Electric Fan conversion .
~ 95k miles.

yeah idk wat it is but like everytime i start hearin this kids in my diesel tech class at school talkin bout how bad powerstrokes are but they cant tell me why theyre bad im jus like please shut the up and they cant even tell me why thyree aweosme dmaxs are so good

i have read every post in this thread and i can't believe how ignorant people are. i know a kid that just turned 19 and for his birthday daddy baught him a 2004 superduty 6.0 psd w/ a suncoast tranny. after 3 weeks of driving as hard as possible (bullydog birthday present) he blows out the tranny. in about 6 months he blew out 3 suncoast trannys. dad pays for it all. he tells me that he removed his muffler and put on a 6 in. tip, bullydog with 2 chips stacked on top of it, 150 injectors, ats turbo never replaced downpipe. he tells me that he is currently getting 24 mpg. ha ha right and his only job is help cleaning up construction sites.
