Got Killed By a PSD

I was on my way back from a job in NY with my company's service truck. It's a '97 GMC 3500HD w/8' maintenance bed. It's the lightest truck we have, has a 5spd, but has no power up hills whatsoever(my favorite truck, naturally, is our F-550. Goes slow up hills but has NEVER left me stranded like the 2 GMCs!). I had a nice PSD behind me on I-95n heading back to RI. The PSD & I got cut off by an old woman in a Delta '88(go fig!) & was doing about 40mph in a 65. I had to jump in the high speed lane to pass her & noticed the PSD had done so just as I did & tried to pass me. Of course, this is right @ the bottom of one of I-95's many long uphills. I was standing on the accelerator in 5th with the truck struggling to make it up the hill with the PSD so close, I could tell what radio station he was listening to. I also noticed that my truck, with the engine screaming, was blowing some serious chimney. When we got to the top of the hill, I had changed back into the slow lane. The PSD had passed me, got into my lane, and blew an even BIGGER cloud of chimney. As usual, since the A/C doesn't work, I had both windows open & got a REAL good taste of some unspent fuel(needs garlic!). Before I knew it, the PSD had taken off no problem with me still standing on the gas, @ 55mph, in 5th, with absolutely no azz. If this was anyone on the forum; sorry about the smokeshow! I'd hate to be eating GMC diesel fumes if I were you too! & one more thing: NICE TRUCK!!!
