What do you guys think?

well tomorrow night I'm having a truck tug-a-war at my place. (wheat fields are off and bailings done so its time to have some fun) Most everyone has 1/2 tons so I will be pulling my 1979 f-150 more than the stroker. One of the guys just got an 08 Duramax CC SB. He asked if I wanna try him with the Powerstroke. well what do you think? It would be on hard packed dirt and I have Mastercraft Courser M/T's and he has Open Country A/T's. So I think I got the traction part won. I will have about 1000-1200 lbs. in the bed if I pull. So the wieght part should be pretty close? the only thing is the power part he's got me beat there Im sure. Oh I also have a 4 in rise hitch for some leverage. If it means anything he is cool and wont be a d*ck if he wins, he was gunna get a powerstroke but didnt want the 08 mpg in the 6.4's. His family has always driven Powerstrokes and he is a fan of them. He just wants to test it out. I say as long as I dont break anything I will be happy sorry for the long post.

just get your truck as heavy as you can, if you spin your done. Hold your brakes, let him spin, then go, power really doesn't matter in a tug of war. Video of this would be nice

I will try to get a video. Also yeah i've hooked the ol 79 many times so I have some experience (atleast I like to think so). She should be full of fuel plus about 1000 lbs in the bed so hopefully weight will be up there. Maybe if anyone has a video camera we will tape everything and put it on youtube??? Their will be many 1/2 tons, 4wheelers, a ranger vs. dakota. I think these will be the only 2 diesels ( my other friend has a 07 f-250 6.0 cc sb 4x4, but he wont ever hook it up... he might actually be smart lol)

I would love for the "old" stroker to pull back an 08 duraturd. And I know tug-a-war is not a good measure of the best truck, but it sure is fun.
