Boosted EVO VS tuned F250

Wondering what my chances are against an AWD boosted EVO pushing 35lbs of boost. Know a girl who wants to run my truck against her evo. I'm tuned with the HD300, full deleted DP exhaust, intake. Is it worth the possible embarassement?

Oh and she's running E85 fuel.

2008 F250 Harley Davidson 4x4, Upgraded LED lighting, JL Audio 13.5" Stealthbox, JL Audio C3 door speakers, JL Audio 500.1 for the stealthbox, JL Audio 400.4 for the doors, Viper 5704 alarm/SmartStart and GPS tracker, JimmiJammer door plates, JimmiJammer gateguard, Delete front lock/rear handle swap, DPF delete, MiniMaxx, 2.5" level, Sinister coolant filter, 55w 6000k HID's driving/fog lights, S+B CAI, MBRP 5" DP back exhaust, 35x12.5x20 TIS 20" rims, Nitto Trail Grapplers, adjustable track bar.

Well...from what I hear a tuned evo is pretty fast and plus.....it's all wheel drive too. I don't think we would stand a chance. Unless your truck runs low 8's in the 1/8th. My buddy has one and he is on the verge of high 7's........they are fast if they have a driver.

Yeah my only hope from what I'm guessing is that she sucks at driving that thing.

The EVO will pass you before the 1/4 mark because it has the top end that our trucks don't have...you might jump off the line first...(although the AWD system might even take you there)...

Only way to tell is to try...go for it...but get video for us!

I dunno man, it sounds like that evo could blow your doors off even if she can't drive it. But if she's wanting to race, chances are she can drive

I'm gonna try either way, and I plan on a 20psi boosted 4WD launch. Just wanted to know what my odds were. And yes, it's a surefire way to get some flirting on cause she's a real looker.

Well just make a deal before the race- dinner, drinks, and the looser has the opportunity to go home a winner

And MTS678 has a good idea..

Evos can make crazy power for little cost compared to similar cars, such as subarus. Even if she can't drive, that car will more than make up for it. An evo pushing 35# on E-85 is a monster.

Local shop to me does high performance fab and tuning and are well respected for their work. They cut their teeth on Evo's and to this day they are the most common car you will find in their shop. I have seen some amazing Evo's come out of that shop, among other things.

But, regardless of the sure loss, as you said it is a great chance for a bit of tail chasin! Have fun and be safe! Get some video, or at least pics of her and/or car, if you can!
