Killed 25 cars this morning

Man, I've been driving this truck for 6 months now and I'm STILL not used to just how much power it's got! I was trying to get over into this long line of traffic on the freeway that was bumper to bumper going about 60 mph and nobody would let me over, I wasn't even being a **** about it, I just needed over. Well, to back up a little, I've been driving an 85 Mercury Grand Marquis for the last 5 1/2 years and over that time I've just gotten into habit that when you need to have power you HAVE floor-board it..it's just so darn slow! Well, I'm still in that mind-set apparently...back to this morning....I finally decided that since nobody was gonna let me over I'd just have to speed up and try to jump in somewhere, so I floored it..and started looking for my spot to jump into...well in about 10 or so seconds that long huge line of cars was GONE and I'm like WTH??? I looked down at the speedo...pegged on 100. I was like holy smokes!! and started slowing down. Ended up I had a good 1/2 mile to get over. I have to get out of "Mercury Mode"!!! This truck is flippin' fast....I should have known something was going on when the bug-shield started violently flapping around..probably happened around 100 I'd say.

Not a bad one to be in! haha sweet kill! and the power is totally addicting, I find myself punching it from time to time when I feel down. The world slows down for me and my worries fly away. LOVE my diesel!

I don't think it's considered a kill to beat bumber to bumber traffic that can't go any faster than the front car....

I agree..these were not quality kills...I was looking for a spot to jump into and before I knew it I'd blown by everybody and into triple digits! I need to re-train my brain to realize that I no longer have to floor board it ANYtime I want some power..that old Mercury was a dog..big-time.
