You are right, there has been enough injustice for all in our land and its time we cleaned the slate and started treating all people the same under the law. There are no people anywhere that have not been enslaved and exterminated at some point in US history. Shoot, slavery is alive and well in the good old USA today. But that dosen't mean we can't work towards making it a better place for us all. For starters we can start treating everyone the same under the law and take away special prieveledge for any group even native Americans. If one group can set up legal gambling then anyone should be able to. In my home county, Douglas county Oregon the native Americans are buying up land turning it into Indian land which removes it from the tax roles. I have no objection to them buying land. i object to the land being removed from the tax roles and still allowing all the services that the tax money provides. I for one would love to return to the days before those first illegals arrived at Plymouth rock! Yep, don't recall them haveing prior permission from the native Americans before landing do you? I know i would have done my best to convince those native peoples to not allow them to land upon our shores just as i lobby today to stop the illegal immigration that is burying us under a sea of humanity today..
