Hurt a 1500 hemi feelings.
I finally got the truck running and she is running very strong. The tune is not quite right have a surge at 2500 rpm, and then goes away. Waiting for some revised tunes to come in. My truck is a 6.0, 04' ext. cab, running a stage 4 MTW turbo, dual HPOP, 6.4 converted to 6.0 ported intake, some head work, 225/75 injectors and built trans.
Drove the truck to work to make sure it runs good, and wring it out, after getting the rocker changed. I passed a Dodge 2010, standard cab, with the r/t labels, exhaust and such. Nice looking truck, and proud owner, truck was clean. He got up behind me at the light, I made a right and so did he. He goosed his truck,so I thought what the hell trucks not running tip top, but I'll give him a little show. I hit about 40 and truck got side ways tire trying to grab, backed off a little and truck chirp next gear off I went. I blow him off so bad it was sad, well I guess he wasn't happy so the next light I was turning left and he was behind me again. I thought it was a co worker so when the the light turned I made left and there he was again this time I guess he gave his truck all it had. I waited till he got next to me and bam off I was, and 100 mph was there in no time. He was way back behind me, I really think I hurt his feelings that time for sure.
The craziest thing is I did all of it with about 1/4- 1/2 throttle, yes that is right the truck is nasty, I will be putting it on a dyno and live tune very soon, it feels like it is making high 600 rwhp, close to 700rwhp.
