Cummins KILLED

Ok another "not a normal kill" thread. We work in Gillette Wy and some of the guys drive back and forth to denver every weekend. About three months ago the dodge they were driving blew the motor. Well after fighting with chrysler and them refusing the warranty we drug it back up here and yanked the motor. So heres some pics of the motor with the side of the block blown out. It even ripped the cam in half.

sorry for the lack of details I cant tell stories. Anyway your looking at a 05 24v cummins completely stock NO MODS. After the engine blew it was towed to Northglenn Dodge for warranty work. The tech said it had been tried to start over 15 times (YEA RIGHT) I know the guys who drive it and they never would have tried to restart the truck with all the oil laying on the highway. They also said the CEL was on for 45min another blantent LIE. Gotta love the slealership. They can make up any story to fit thier needs. I wonder if thier is a private party you can call before you take your ride to the stealership so they cann get you all the info first

Its really too bad I used to think the cummins was great but after driving one for a few months and watching that one self destruct my opinion has changed..

Maybe dodge could get some foriegn diesel to help them out

It would still be wraped in a CRAP truck though
