Russ, it looks like it's a Rapid Hitch. If it is, it's rated at 10,000 lb. GTWR and 1,500 lb. tongue weight.

I have seen many of them in person and they are one bad mamma jamma of a hitch. They are also aluminum alloy so they aren't too heavy.

Bah, not a problem. OH hey! (off topic) i finally got a pic of me parked next to a Honda Fit I was looking at it and thought of how bad it would be if a car like that rearended me ... i'll post it up in that other thread with the smartcar pic if I can find it.

BTW, I'm getting a hitch asap after this thread, i got the rec. but there's nothing in it right now.

A few years ago I was heading onto campus in my ol' 98 F-150. We were at some stop and go "stop sign" traffic at around 5am. We were never going any faster than 5mph and not for very long. I rearended a Honda accord ruined the back of the car, got out to exchange info. light turned green. Honda speeds off. I called the cops waaited for 15 min. cops gets there takes my story and then says "probubly a drug a felon. Dont worry about it, your truck looks fine".
