A kill with words.

So not a racing story but more or less me killing a guy at the bar over a conversation with diesels.

I was at the bar talking to a guy I know his name is Rick and he owns possibly the fastest duramax in the my city. its 900 HP and my dad has his 6.0 liter so where talking diesels because we both love em and this one guy buds in over hearing our conversation and says my 96 dodge cummins will eat both your trucks like nothing. I asked what he had in it and he said and I quote "I got stacked chips that give me 600 horespower on top of the 375 stock horsepower giving me 975 horsepower." So not being one to get talked to by a punk who knows nothing about diesels I went off on him. Stock horespower for the 96 dodge was I beleive around 175-200hp and since it is a 96 you have a 12 valve dodge which is all mechanical injection and absolutely no electronic injection to speak of meaning you cannot chip a 12 valve cummins. so I am guessing your horsepower is right around that 175 200hp range. this guy got pissed off and left the bar and tried a poor attempt to do a burnout after hearing all this. not to mention he left in a dodge dakota not a cummins.

Some people need to learn the old adage:

"It is better to remain silent and have everyone assume you are a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt".

No offense at all to Saber but something tells me that in this case, it probably wasn't terribly difficult.
