04 GTO kill

So a few weeks back I happened to line up against a GTO with some kind of aftermarket exhaust. Driver looked to be the typical GTO kinda guy. We left the light and mashed the pedals, I looked over and had to laugh at him shifting all F&F style but in the end, the 'duty was ahead. A few people that knew the guy claimed it was a 6.0 but I suspect it was really a 5.7, it was a very easy win.

*race performed on a closed track, not on a public road

Did it have dual exhaust or single? Easiest way to tell what motor it has in it, besides looking at the hood.

Duals, but it didn't sound like any 6.0 GTO I ever heard. Sounded more 'tame' if that makes sense.

The 04's came with 5.7's so unless he put in a 6.0 it had the 5.7

He must have been spinning his *** off.

04 ECSB 4x4 f250 Lariet,looney tune,egr delete,4" diamond eye exhaust,studded water/meth inj. . 04 GTO with a 408 stroker (506hp 468tq.).
