You KNOW he wasn't stock b/c the Chebby's cut of at 96 mph IIRC.

Also, get a custom tune and if he's the same bed/cab config you'll stay right with him until he finds out about EFI or PPE, but then he's going to need a tranny.

At that point he can get the tranny and get a higher level and if you get studs you can run nitrous and be right with him.

After that if he finds out about a turbo and CP3's there won't be more then a handful of powerstrokes in the world that will catch him...

Well you can't feel as bad now that he told you. At least it wasn't a stock truck. Keep your head up, when he's broke down and walking, stop and ask him if he is tired of walking. When he says yes tell him to run. And leave him in black smoke.

Don't think of it as a loss...think of it as encourgment (sorry for the spelling) to get more parts for the truck

Yeah theres a guy at work who took me with his 06 dmax. I have an 04 6.0 with 50% on the bully dog. We are real close though but he had his chipped.

But on the way out of work the other night he says really loud in a bunch of people and me in that bunch "wow that F350 sure makes my Chevy look good" I said even louder "yeah it must be compensating for something you lack". He's about 2 to 3 inches shorter than I am and has that "little man" disease.

Course I see so many guys with these big trucks and they treat em like corvettes never dirty, used, or punished except for drag racing from light to light.

I use my truck and it shows the battle scars of wars with brush, trees, rocks and mud but above all it gives it character something which many who drive these trucks pay little attention to.
