Slew an 02 5.9 Cummins tonight!

Ok, so my buddy just got an 02 5.9 dodge. 4x4 with 5spd. Completely bone stock with a shade over 300k miles. Proud as could be of it. Started giving me a hard time for driving a "Fix Or Repair Daily" truck and all that stupid junk. So I told him, when we leave to put his money where his mouth was if his truck was all that. He laughed his head off and swore up and down not only could he hold me in my lane but he would leave me so far behind I wouldnt even see his tail lights.

Well, when we left he gunned it. I pulled out right behind him and instantly caught him. It was a windy road so I didnt try to pass but I was right on him and had plenty left. Well, the turn off was up ahead and he passed it, I made the turn and kinda poked along waiting for him to catch up. Here he comes just a flyin. He gets up on me and goes to pass and I step on it and start pulling. I was leaving him! Got to where I got cell coverage and called him and he gave me the lamest excuse for losing I have ever heard! He said and I quote "Well, I...I....I... I just got this tuned up in the shop and I paid for this with my own money and Ive decided Im just not gonna rag it out like you have your truck....." I was like whatever dude you just lost fair and square! He kinda fumbled around a bit and got off the phone.

7.3l rocks!!!
