Poor corvette didn't know what happen?

So how fast is the mad truck( 2004 f250 ext. cab 4x4 35" tires and 5.5 lift kit 6.0 powerstroke) well I got into a race with a 2009-2011 Corvette. I was driving home and stopped at a light, corvette behind me. Light turned green and I took off normally, and got ahead of the car in right lane. As soon as I had about 3-4 car lengths on the car on right, the corvette decided to get to right lane and hammered it down. I figured he was going to so I nailed the truck when he got next to me. I pull on him as soon as I hit it and started to pull move and car lengths about 5-6 when I was starting to come up on a curve so I had to let up and hit the brakes to slow down. That's when the corvette went around me about mid curve passed me. We made it to another light, and we both made a left turn when the light turned green and it was on again. I rolled into throttle to not break tires loose and the corvette nailed it down and got 1 car length in front of me, then I hammered down, and blasted pass the corvette and pulled about 9-11 car lengths before slowing down, no curves to save the vett this time. He never came back up to me, must have broken the poor guys heart.

2004 F250 Ext.cab fabtech 5.5" lift, and traction bars 35" on 18".2005-2007 grill and LED headlights,58v FICM, Warren dual HPOP system, fuel reg. return system, areo 1000a fuel pump, dual fuel filters, ARP studded heads, CCV reroute, EGR delete, 225/75 Warren injectors, water/meth injection (cooling mist),SCT tuner with customs, banks intercooler. MTW stage 4 turbo, built trans by Andy Warren, 4:10 Detroit lockers.

Nice kill.
Im jealous as my 7.3 has trouble beating a chevette

PIS 175/80's, Van Turbo with EBPV, BD Billet Wheel
Lots of money spent at RiffRaff
Holley fuel pump, in tank mods, crappy riding leveling kit, DP-F6, 5 Gauges+Edge CS in dash, CB radio in Dash, over 100 goofy little mods
Still pretty slow, just less slow now.

Don't think the vette was really racing. If he was - he'd killed you!

I will have to agree with you. Grant it, some of these trucks are fast, but not vette killin fast. It's just not possible on the street. There is only so much you can do for these on the street before torque and horsepower don't matter.

Besides, why kill it in a race when you can just look down at em and snicker?
