Buddy's 07 duramax

So I don't have a kill story against my buddies dirty yet but I'm in hope for one. I have an all stock 6.0l with vivians looney tune. Its pretty quick and my buddy never lets up when it comes to his EFI live'd duramax. he's got a 90hp tune on it now and a 4inch turbo back. He has no idea that my truck is tuned.

What are the odds that I will beat him with the Looney compared to his EFI 90hp especially since he thinks i'm all stock?

I'm def going to have the GoPro on to see what happens

On the other note i schooled some "thug" in a new Cadillac SRX. Boy was he surprised when my 8000# truck left him

Duraturds are pretty quick next to the 6.0 stock for stock, but I think the looney will get em.. I have never been in or seen a tuned dmax. Let us know how it goes. Good luck! Your running gauges I hope right?

Depends on whose 90 hp tune he's running. If it's an Idaho Rob tune, I'm gonna say you'll lose.

I don't have gauges but I'm working on those lol

He wont challenge me to a race because he's all talk normally so if i don't bring up a race we won't.

Gives me a chance to get gauges installed.

Also I think i'll win cuz he doesn't really have any balls when it comes to racing unless he's on his quad and lately even thats been lacking.... lol

I've got a buddy with an 05 and he had a 425 tune from Danville Performance. He just recently got tunes from Idaho Rob and runs either an 80 or 90 hp file and it absolutely blows that 425 tune out of the water. I lost to him with my X-Race tune.

No its just been tuned, not really any other mods. he has a stronger tune but its only on 90 right now

The 90 hp tune is no where near as strong as he can run on the truck. I think you could hang with him if he stays on that tune. If he puts a stronger tune on, then you don't have much of a chance.
