Talking First Kill, 2012 Cummins!

My buddy has a 2012 Ram 2500 ccsb, 6.7 w/ a six speed. He had just installed his dpf and egr deletes and his new chip, and a few other little goodies.

We were driving home from a little family get together, and i pulled out right before him, when my friend riding with me told me to show him some real smoke. So I cranked the chip up to extreme and flat footed it to lay a cloud on him.

He got right up on my bumper so the smoke wouldn't blind him, and decided hed try to pass me on the straight stretch. I turned the chip down to the daily so I had less risk of blowing the stock turbo, but as any of you should know you still can't let it spool the whole way or itll break 30# before you can blink. When he got right beside me, I laid into it, but couldnt for too long. So I held the throttle at 28# and kept in it, pulling away the whole way until eventually I couldn't even see his headlights anymore. When we got to where we were going, I had to wait for him to get there.

When he showed up, I asked if he had his chip cranked and was flat footed the whole time we were racing and he said yeah. I told him I was only half throttling it the whole way and he still won't believe me. Honestly, I thought hed smoke me with his gearing and even the stock amount of power a new cummins puts out, but I guess the old stroke has never disappointed me before... Needless to say, I'm pretty proud of the old girl's first race , what do you guys think?
