Killed a 6.4

Well I know it's a cummins winning but it's the first kill I have actually had and I just put a new turbo on so I'm pretty pumped. I was waiting to merge onto the highway and then this 6.4 gave me a haze of smoke as he went by. He was cruising pretty slow and then I went to pass him and he then kept pace with me so I looked over and he wanted to go. So we got ready and he gave her 3 honks and we went from 50-90 and then I let out. He was at my rear bumper when I let out.

I'm a ford man and have always loved fords and I know it's nothing to be proud of because he only had a tuner and I have a larger turbo and a tuner but a kills a kill. I'd love to have a 6.4 some day.

Anyways I just wanted to brag cause it was my first kill. See what I get wanting to race me in my 7.3 this winter.

He must have had it on a low tune, or else he had a crappy tuner. 6.4L's with just a tuner, intake, and exhaust can make close to 600 HP. You got lucky...

Could be the fact I'm between 520 and 550 for Hp now with new tunes and a turbo. He could've been spinning tires to. Who knows

A 575 HP truck with an automatic transmission is gonna be faster than a 550 HP truck with a manual transmission. CCSB 6.4L's can run 12.5's with just a tuner, intake, and exhaust. I doubt you are anywhere near that. The manual transmission is holding you back. It's great for a dyno day, but for racing, the automatic will win all day long. I doubt anybody would be spinning tires at 50 MPH, unless you've got GOBS of horsepower.

A Guy that worked for my dad was a haliburton worker, with tons of money, and his 06 cummins was pushing 1224 HP. He had to use 4 wheel drive all the time if the road was damp or he'd lose traction. On dry pavement, when he'd goose the throttle, 3 full tire rotations. Its unfair lol. But I'm a Ford Guy, but I figured I'd share the meanest cummins I know. I hope to upgrade from my 7.3 to a 6.4. Someday lol.

Holy crap. That's a lot of power.

As far as upgrading to the 6.4L, it's the best decision you'll ever make.

Must've just got lucky. Someday I will have a 700 Hp 6.4. A guy on here has one with a 6 speed and just got it built up but I forget his username. I'd like a rig just like it b
