7.3 vs. 7.3

so one of my little brothers friends down the street with an 02 7.3 ecsb put some kind of injectors in his truck and a chip custom tuned for injectors. hes been racing every one in the neighborhood. got beat by an ecoboost driven by an 80 year old retired farmer. so hes been bugging me for about two weeks to race him. finally i gave in my truck an 00 7.3 eclb being stock other than a bully dog cai and an edge tuner (not my preferred choice just what i have).

first race... we line them up, both boost launching my truck in two wheel drive his in 4x4 he gets me off the line due to my tires blowing off my truck but i was keeping the same pace. so we get back to my house ofcorse hes blowing me **** so i say ok lets do a re run both in 4x4.

get back to the road he says "man i blew a cac tube" bring it back to my house i check it out no spit boots no nothing. so back to the road.

second race... bring boost up launch boom dead even, 2nd gear dead even, 3rd gear he pulls a fender on me. and then i let off due to him about hitting me.

i figured the injectors would of done more than a fender even with out supporting mods

He definaty put injectors in it idk what they are. What ever they are it made the truck lope with the stock ts chip. It went away with the custom tuned chip though.

I still dont believe it. A good set of injectors and tunes and he's looking at around 380whp +.

Yep he is lieing. When I race a buddy at my works 7.3 I can play with him all I want. I can slow down stay next to him and 3/4 throttle it and pull on him by 2-3 lengths or run off at wot by 5-6
