Didn't kill em but I wounded em!

I was getting on the freeway after work when I noticed a decked out D-Max ahead of me. Big exhaust, Super Chip sticker in window you know the drill. There I am lil ole me in my stock CC 7.3 just trying to get home. All of a sudden out of no where he must see me and out comes the coal! Well I couldn't just sit there! I looked to the left, oh crap two semis coming must go faster! Blessid mother of acceleration don't fail me now! What's this, he is no longer getting farther away but it can't be I'm catching him. No he didnt let up because we are both still accelerating and I'm reading the dealrship sticker on the back of his truck. Wait were over 100 I mean 55mph now and I'm waiving as I go by. The best part is he was still pouring out the coal. I felt pretty good. Cant wait to mod somthing.

Wake up man, a 7.3 is no competition to a Duramax, unless you are sleeping.
Good story though.

Hey sorry to break it to ya but I've seen a very fair share of 7.3's pulling on Durasnacks, vice versa as well though. Both are very good trucks.

I agree, I do like the Fords stance and interior better than the Chevy, but power wise I like the Duramax over the Powerstroke, especially because there is so much more aftermarket products for the duramax.
