Killed an EFILive LBZ

There's this guy that works in the shop next to mine that has this really sharp looking LBZ Duramax, and here recently he's gotten EFILive tuning done to his truck. Me having the biggest diesel in our squadron, he naturally has been wondering about racing me. Well the other week I got my MiniMaxx, Exhaust, and Intake put on my truck... and one day leaving work I ran into him on the Highway towards town. I got all excited because I really wanted to see what my truck could do with all this new power. So here we are rolling around 60mph, I creep up next to him and give the "let's go" wave, he honks to 3 and we both punch it. I take off like a bat outta hell and pull on him a good 4-5 lengths, smoke pouring outta the tailpipe, with a huge smile on my face. I slow down to let him catch up and I yell "let's go from 40!" and he accepts. Same three honk go and I pull on him even harder, just absolutely smoked him! I love this truck!

That was last week, and since then he has tuned his truck up a little because he said he was having fuel issues. This morning on my way to work, he creeps up on my right outta nowhere... he looks over at me and I accept what's getting ready to happen. We both punched it (I went off of his acceleration, he got the jump) and here we go again! I pulled on him, not near as bad as last time, until I hit at least 105 and then I let off. He kept going, haven't talked to him yet but I can imagine he's probably not too happy about it. Lol I love my

I love 6.4 kill stories. I would like to race so i can see what my truck has but nobody ever wants to race me.

. maybe word is getting out about the 6.4

nice kill, coming from a duramx, my last diesel (looking for a 6.4 right now) I would say a EFI live LBZ like mine, tuned by Idaho Rob and a Tranny built by Mike L and minor exhaust and fuel mods (lift pump) it would have been him pulling on you...but I will say your truck and the tune and mods you have done has made a nice beast... those 6.4's can run... nice kill... probably would have been neck and neck with a bumper either way....
