killed gmc 2500hd on the 8

well i was just cruizing through traffic today on the 8 coming from san diego and i look back and this gmc is riding my a** so i do the nice thing and merge to the slow lane, he pulls up next to me and nods so i looked at my wife and she just shrugged. so i give my 03 a little gas and he gets on it, well too make a long story short by the end of the hill im 8 truck lengths in front. After that i just put my cruise control back on and he pulls up to me and gives me the thumbs up. I was pretty happy i just got done studding and deleting it so im taking it easy (no tuner). I thought i would share my story with you guys. have a good one!!!

You're running stock and won by 8 truck lengths? Was he pulling a trailer?

I have a tuner but im kinda leery to put it on, but i have a 4" straight pipe and air raid intake. not much gain but it sure sounds good. his truck was stock it had to be. im gonna get rid of my bully dog and get a sct asap.

I am a avid Ford fan and hate all Chevy/GMC products and also own a 03 and really find this hard to believe unless that 2500 was a gasser. My truck in stock tune will barely get out its own way. Mine also has exhaust, intake and other small bolt on stuff. Now put a tune on it and thats a whole new story.

I swear to you it was not a gasser and I beat him, I do have a tuner but not hooked up. My truck does pretty good stock. I have beat my dads 250 with a 8 in lift and 38 with edge plat. Stock. Just sayn.
