2009 Supercharged Tundra

He got traction, I didn't. Lost by a truck length after the 1/4. He has a TRD supercharger kit, Long tubes and a tune. Making around 550hp I think. My truck is in my sig. (ran on Wild tune on the H&S, so around 425hp / 950tq based on H&S dyno testing) So on paper they should be pretty close. I should have ran him in 4 high, but wasn't sure about speeds above 60 in 4wd. I would have had him I think if it hooked. Even with the big 20" wheels and a light launch it just spun for about 50ft. I wasn't sure if it was turbo lag or spinning until we spun back around and saw the black marks. We only had time for one run, so maybe next time I will try it in 4wd. Oh well it was still fun, I just can't drive apparently

Don't worry about 4hi on the strip. Just don't make turns turn it off after the run... I assume you have never done a 4x4 boosted launch.... Hehehe now those are fun, and you would have taken him by about 2-3 car lengths Hehe.... do it again and boost up to 15 psi in 4hi before launching....

You will LOVE it!!!!!

Yea I will try that next time. I am sure the results will be different

I owned a Typhoon for a few years, and know all about 15psi boost launches. There wasn't much on the street that could hang with it from a stop.

I smell a rematch and a new winner! Was the TeRD 4 wheel drive and did he use it?

Next time is gonna be different. Keep us posted.
