Got Killed by a PSD

Leaving work going home Friday night about 8pm and as im going through town to get on the highway I see a very NICE PSD waiting its turn to pull out of Quicktrip. Its all decked out with what looked like a 4" lift, 18" rims running 35's. It had to much cosmetics done to tell what year, but it was either the 6.0 or 6.4.
Either way as I drive by him I give him "a little" smoke...( ok, ALOT of smoke) as bait...
It was perfect, the car behind me turned off at a side street and here he came catching me fast as I was going over the overpass to turn on the hwy.
Light turned red, so I stoped with him right behind me both waiting to turn left and see who is the fastest.
I already had my chip set on "KILL" and decided I was going to wait till I made my turn and was stright before laying into it as I knew I would drift it sideways if not.
Light turned green...here we go, I was only halfway through my turn and I heard his turbo behind me spooling up fast, So I hit the loud pedal and instantly set the truck sidways..oops..let off and got back into it and took off like the devil himself was on my azz. I look up into my rearveiw mirror and I see him gaining fast, he came up so close I could not see his headlights, then he backed off and did it again, and a 3rd time before we even hit the hwy...Im about to sh!t my pants at this point, I cant believe he his catching me letting off and catching me again.
Just about as we are to merge onto the hwy I glanced down at the spedometer and im pegged past 100mph already, as we both merge into the hwy he takes the left lane and passes me like im in reverse all while Im jamming the pedal through the firewall.
I gave him the as he passed and let out of it as we were catching up to traffic fast. My truck is far from slow, but I know theres alot more I can do to my truck to make it faster, and I know that the 6.0 and 6.4's are fast when tuned right, but holy hell I didnt know they were that fast.
This just made me wanna spend more money on my truck now....

isnt 6.4 a completely different front end? all them newer ones will eat us up with a tune, the 7.3 needs help lol i feel bad kause i got beat by an f150 and a chebby 1500 yesterday

Yes they look way different from the 99-07 Super duty trucks...

OP look into the body style differences and let us know if you can tell which one it was please.

6.4 has the funny looking head lights where the turn signal is below instead of top and sides like ya'lls sig piks

The only thing I recognized , other than being a Ford, it had the 6.0 mirrors.
the front was all custom, grill, bumper, headlights, ect.

The it was probably a 6.0, but there a many guys who put those mirrors on 7.3s.
Based on how he flew by you, I bet it was a 6.0

I havent seen anyone put 6.0 mirrors on a 08+ truck so it was more likely a quick 6.0...
