Smoked a Camaro!

Buddy of mine bought his ole lady a new Camaro SS yesterday. Hes been itching to race me ever since! Its 426hp he claims. Hes been staying out at my parents ranch house for a couple days and I told him today I would come out and race. I was kinda scared at first, but once i had the ole 6.4 warmed up and ready it came natural. Had an awsome four wheel launch and smoked him off the line and held him at about 5 car lengths til around 110mph, then the POS Camaro finally caught up and passed me... I was running the 275 Spartan tune. Launched and shifted beautifully!

+1 for the ole 6.4! Its amazing what a little tuning will do in these pickups!!!

I'm not impressed with the new ss at all, I raced one and it didn't even pull on me. it launched quicker and kept that same distance the whole run. If i had a 6.4 i'd be eatting all the new camaros up making them feel bad that a diesel truck just ate their sports car

Good kill! Those new camaros are mostly dogs. I've got an LS1 camaro with full bolt-ons and had a few new ss camaros jump on me...it's never a competition from a roll or a stop. That doesn't mean there aren't fast ones out there but stock...they're not impressive.
