A Real Kill

Well on my way to work today I got a real good kill. It was not a ricer, not a gasser, not a cummins or a duramax. It was a deer, whitetail deer that is. Smacked it good too. Needless to say I did not have a camera with me. But damage to Ol' Blue is minimal just another dent in my front bumper. Now I have hit 3 deer with my truck. Now I have 3 dents in my front bumper from deer. Needless to say I had the County Boys come out give me a tag and I ran the little doe to my meat guy who is splitting it with me. All burger. But if you wonder how far a 130 pound white tail deer flies when you hit it doing 55 in a PSD the distance was about 25-30 ft. By the way the season opens in 30 days.

MAN I want some Venison! I need to go hunting! Glad Ol' Blue didn't get too hurt! Think of it as a medal of sorts! kinda like a way to keep track of her Killz! Actually you should do like those pilots did way back in the war, and paint a deer on her for EVERY kill, or put one on the back windshield or something Kool like that!

Out here in Washington they won't let you keep it if you hit it. They just haul it off to the side of the road and let it rot. Makes me mad that they waste alot of meat. At least take it to a butcher and donate it to a food bank.

Just getting a jump on the season BC? Just couldn't wait,uh?

Glad to hear damage was minimal....wifey hit one in her Dodge Peon (she got rid of it well before we were married, thank god)...F'ed up the fender, hood and bumper.

Yeah I hit the rear quarter of the deer. I think it got killed when its head smacked the pavement. That thing got tossed pretty good. Didn't slide cape is still pretty good besides the gaping hole from the hip bone that came out from the compound fracture. When I walked up to it she was not kicking or moving or breathing. I called the local County boys out. They gave me a tag said it was the first of the season. At least for that cop. I threw it in the bed and ran it to my meat guy. He is making all burger out of it. We are going to split it 50/50. I will probablly get about 20 pounds of burger from it. Which will be good for chilli.
