byron diesel drags

spent yesterday at the drag strip for the byron diesel drags ran my truck 5 times
1st race ran a older dodge looked like a 24 valve i went 15.5 he went 18.0
2nd race ran a newer dodge, stick shift, i went 15.45 he went 16.8
3rd race ran a 6.4l i went 15.38 he went 14.68
4th race lifted duramax, edge box on 100hp tune, i went 15.32 he went 15.19
5th race ran a another duramax i went 15.24 he went 15.30
not sure what any of there mods where besides the obviouse strait pipe.
i ran just my economy tune from innovative, ran all my runs in 2x4, didn't want to beat on my truck to bad.

I like how your runs got progressively faster, sucks you had 1 loss, and to a dmax at that, but all good kills.

i lost twice, once to a 6.4 and then to the dmax i had a faster reaction time in all my racesed the dmax had a faster 60ft and beat me by .05 of a sec barely by a fender, and the 6.4l beat me by .75 of a sec. the last run was prouble as fast as it would go in 2x4 after i launched the tires barked a little any harder and i would have lost traction.

Sounds like the diesel drags at byron were pretty good. I should have just went but did not have time.

they where a blast, it nice to get to race a bunch of different trucks, legaly

, X2 was looking forward to running out there aswell , but its about 2 hours from me ,and ran out of time , did they have any vendors at that show or just strickly drag racing?

same here. 2 hours away and was busy in the field combining so did not have time.

i hear ya, it was 1.5hr ride for me, and if i lived back in Mi. i would have been in the field also, dans diesel performance was there, and a car dealership had some truck for sale. a few more years and it will be more of an established event. and more vendors will show

It was an awesome time i liked how they ran other vehicles too not just diesel. Should have raced my truck but i thought it was gonna be all extremely modified trucks running by what my friend told me. =S

I might have some videos from my phone ill have to see if i can figure out how to upload them.
