Killed a new tundra
So here I am on the 5 south just picked my truck up fresh from paint, my 97 crew cab 4x4, I'm cruising at about 80, just cause I hate going slow and I happened upon a brand new tundra with the I force v8 and a bunch of Lucas oil additive stickers and vinyl wraps all over it, he has same option as me ccsb 4x4 larger tires, so we get on it I peg the speedo (it stops at 85) and I'm still pulling on him, he ends up bout 2-3 car lengths back after I hit about 90 mph and closer to 3k rpm's my truck just stops blowing soot and just keeps going, slowed to 60 he caught up we did same thing, got even more space on him, after I slowed for him again he just waived me on cause couldn't hang anymore

i know two people with tundras both v8s one slower then balls small v8 the big v8 tundras flys stock ccsb 4x4s are running high 14s in 1/4

I love it.
a friend tried to get me to buy a tundra, of course I said no. Actually, I said I would kill one just with the loads I would put on them. Glad to know I can out run one too

No kidding. Those tundra guys are mislead by some low end torque and "muffler horse power"

My truck is as stock as it gets from my factory air box to the cat and muffler, its a cali emissions 97 and I had an edge EVO tuner on it when I smoked him, on tow tune, but being its a 97 cali has stock 120cc splits, but he got his lunch taken.

It probably wasn't the 5.7L V8, because my buddy has one - and it's pretty quick. Not trying to knock your truck at all, just saying if all you had was that tuner on the tow setting, I doubt you walked a 5.7L Tundra. I'm not sure what the iForce V8 is, but I'm assuming it was the 4.6L V8. Regardless, nice kill.
