Firebird goes down in flames

Got off work and on my way home around midnight. Stop at a redlight and a firebird pulls up beside me. I accidentally bump the throttle when i reached for my drink. Well, mr LS didn't like that so he wound her up, and I looked over and grinned. Left at 8 psi because the 4wd was not on and I started seeing headlights at around 50mph. Got to the next light and he wants to chat about it. Pulled in a ags station and he proceeded to say(WTF is under the hood). He ahd never been around a diesel that would run like that and got the all important thumbs up and made a good buddy in the process.

Btw, I still spun pretty bad pulling out, but by 3rd gear, she bit down and was gone in a cloud of smoke.
