cummins vs d-max...

i was driving down the road and i see this d-max messing with this cummins and they keep black smoking eachother. i can tell the cummins guy didnt wanna play. But whtever im behind them watchin it all. so they come up to a stop light and the dodge is getting ready to boost launch. then the d-max starts spoolin up! The light turns green and the d-max is off and snaps a tie rod and then the dodge just drives away hella slow........... i thought it was funny as hell. cuz the dude that was in the d-max looked like he was 15 years old

dude in chevy was an idiot. And it has nothing to do with IFS kids, it's just ****ty factory equipment.

couple hundred in parts and you can run 9.xx quarters on the chevy front. That said there's no excuse for the steering gear that comes on trucks like mine.

Maybe in a stock application. The kid that bought my Duramax still managed to get the tires looking cross eyed even with sleeves. And my 06 Powerstroke with a SFA rides just as good as my Duramax did.

Spend $600 on the front and it's bullet proof.

and something was wrong with your Dmax if it rode like a Ford. I mean obviously the dana 60 is nearly indestructible, but the Fords I have drove rode chitty.

haha thats funny as crap. i raced a duramax last night. he kept punching it next to me wanting me to race and this went on for like 5 miles through town lol. so finally at the last green light going through town were all the young punks hang out, i took off easy and when i got to third i stretched it out a little bit and jumped on his *** in front of everyone. he cought up and blew by me but it was sooo funny.

Yes $600 and you should have a decent front end. 09Duramax said sleeves would be plenty strong, I had to disagree because I have seen more than one instance where they were not. And there was nothing wrong with my duramax. I had to crank the t-bars to keep little 285 tires from rubbing. So it did ride a little rougher since the bars were cranked. IMO chevy's ride is a little over-rated. Everyone tries to justify their ifs by saying the ride is so much better.
