raced a 12 valve

this is how the story goes I am driving up the by pass today going up a hill about 75mph and this cummins drives by me and I thought no were not going to do this so I get beside him and I have mine cranked up and he hit it and pull me pretty hard so I thought well we will try this one more time I was a little more prepared for what I had so we get on it and he pulls a fender on me from a 70mph punch and we raced to about 115mph and I end up pulling a fender by time we were done so I talk to the guy and he had injectors and a plate and a pump he said it makes 50psi and he claimed it makes 500 hp I dont think it makes that much but the truck ran real good

Sounds like fun. It always fun to go up against something that has a lot more money in it than yours. And to do well against it to boot.

Keep in mind, you can get many parts for the cummins for a whole lot cheaper. You can get a set of injectors for one for around $400. When you can do that it is easier to make power. Now...if the tranny can keep up, well, that is a whole nother story

Way to go Greg, you might not have killed him, but he was a fender back, so you win hahaha.
