Death of a chevy and almost its driver

Ok so I finished a job at noon and I am on my way to the dump, I always stay in the right lane to avoid being flipped off, any way this three lane road was turning in to two and I needed one lane left, so blinker on and merge. The chevy about a 50yds behind me feels that I cut him off and so I got the bird, I let it go at that but this guy stops right next to me and starts redlining his engine like I am suppose beg for mercy, so to be a D!@# I build boost and at green I pull on him til 50 (40 mph limit) and let off. We repeat this several times til he gets so pissed he's getting dangerous, weaving lanes and slamming his brakes in anger, so now he feels that I cut him off and, I made his truck look bad in front of his girl (it was a 2dr short bed he and his girl were in). This is where it gets fun I take him at the next light and let off he keeps going cuts in front and slams brakes til we come to a complete stop. We reached a congested area and hes getting crazy so he starts threatening so he gets off I open my door and he jumps back in his truck I get in mine thinking its over, he won't let it go and persists that we fight so we stop I tell him I am tired and I will make it quick at this point he realizes that I am 6'3" and 300lbs hes maybe 5'10" and 130lbs his girl comes out and gets between us, he leaves and I realize how dumb I was for going that far. So in the end I beat a chevy and nearly its driver. My wife happened to be near by and seen it all she yells at me when I get home and asks "what if he had a gun, or was some genetic experiment that could have killed you?". Shes right sometimes its not wort it, but he started it. lol

later that afternoon we went for a evening drive and seen the 2dr chevy short bed getting a ticket. SWEET

your wife is right , there are alot of nuts out there and you have to pick your battles carefully . Remember , its not the size of the dog in the fight , its the size of the fight in the dog . Would have been pretty messed up to get your butt kicked by the midget in the cheby . lol .

Nothing is wrong with loosing I have been smoked by a few Dmaxes. I just keep on driving racing is just worth a few seconds of fun then you have to realize its too dangerous.

I have only been up against 1 crazy like that, except I was in my Ram and he was in a friggin escort, doing 10 under when I passed him. He didnt like it, tailgated me, and decided he wanted to chat.

He saw me, and my piece, and decided not to speak his peace, lol.

Thats why I carry. Never know who or why your gonna meet someone. And I def. wasn't gonna let this nutjob know where I lived.

hahaha i like your story, soon as the little weenie saw how big you were his little man syndrome went down the drain. i feel you on that, im 6'2'' 265, most of the time little men like that just decide to shut up. good thing you didnt fight him though, you coulda ben looking at assault charges whether you threw the first punch or not.

I am tryin to make time to get my concealed carry, I just bought a 1911 for that purpose, before that the only pistol I owned was a S&W 44 mag. with 8" barrel.

Now that I look at it I should have just turned the cheek, that would have been the Christian thing to do. After all my front lic. plate says "I Love Jesus", I know very bad.

Yeah man, I hear ya... myself and all of my friends carry but we're pretty responsible. All of us are either military, law enforcement, or well practiced. I don't leave the house without carrying something in my truck. A 1911 might not be the best carry gun, but that's for another thread. I carry a Keltec P11, 13 rounds of hollow point 9mm will set anyone straight... or ruin their day.

Yeah I hear ya, I was told to bring the highest caliber that I am comfortable shooting class training and will be allowed to carry that caliber and under. I would like a 40SW but like you said for another thread.
