A week or so ago, getting on to the freeway on a long 2 lane onramp. I noticed a newer Ram really accelerating and some smoke coming out of the pipe. I was driving my wife's BMW so I decided to catch up and play along. He saw it unfolding and really hit it so I went down a gear and went around him as I got on the freeway. He was really working to try and stay competitive but failed, I let off at about 110 and 1 more gear left. I was now nervous only for getting pulled over. He caught up and stayed in the left lane at 75 but I was done.

Today, getting on the freeway on a different onramp, I was in my 94 3500 chev. with a service body pulling a 16x9 enclosed trailer filled with landscape stuff. I noticed a new dodge 3/4 ton riding me, he ducked out into the left lane as I was merging at almost full throttle trying to get to speed. He took me and for good measure left me with some black smoke as he passed my front quarter panel.
