Duramax won local truck pull...

Well the IL Fulton County fair was last night and the old fords didnt fair like I expected. First off this fair has about 5 rides and 8 food stands (rather small to say the least) but anyways the truck pulls had to classes, gas, and diesel. In the gas class the fords did great. I think there was 11 trucks and 3rd was a 04? f150 with a 5.4, 2nd a early 70s ford with a 460, and 1st was a 78-79 ford with a 514 dart block, with a whole lot of goodies. There was 12 trucks in the diesel class. 8 powerstrokes, and 4 duramaxs. No cummins. The duramax that won only had a chip, intake, and exhaust. The highest modified ford would have been a 6.0 with a chip, and exhaust. But I really thought at least one ford would out do that stinkin chevy, maby next year one of you guys with at least injectors and a turbo can come and clean house But then again maby I will find a 6.0 by then, we will see.

Wish I would of known about it i would of come and showed the duramax whats up in the 6.0 world!!!! Where is that fair from Vandalia IL???

Olny problem i have is ive got a 7.3 an that is a little much 4 he durmaxes, what can i say>>>>>>>>> They can put what ever name they want on it i got burned yrs back by GM DIESELS, and voweed to never own n ohter .... Ya, thats what I'm hearing as well Derrick, A 5. something, for the F-150s, looking forward to seeing more on them.
