Poor BMW M5

Coming home from dinner tonight, I'm rolling about 55 down Folsom Blvd and roll up on a 2000 or 2001 bmw M5 with a horrible sounding "beehive" exhaust. I start to pass him and he hammers it. It makes me chuckle a little. He let's me get back even then hits it again. I know I can't beat an M5, but I know I can hang with it. So he starts to pulls away and I'm keeping even with him. Knowing there's always a highway patrol hiding about a mile or two up the road I drop back to 55, and the bmw just pulls away. Now he's doing 75 or so, and obviously I've dropped back, but he keeps up his speed. Next thing I know, I see a CHP shooting out of a parking lot, and lights up the BMW.

Felt bad for the guy, but living in this area you know where the cops hide, or at least you should.

Smoked? No way, I had him by a nose from a dig, he slowly reeled me in and started to pull on me. in a 1/4 mile, he'd have me easily. But not but much, I was shocked I could hang as well as I did

Haha, I saw the title of the thread as well and was thinking, "There's no way IN HELL one of our trucks can beat an M5" too! Glad to hear about the "victory"

Well played though sir. Ya gotta love seeing a dumbazz getting lit up by the man. Too bad they couldn't write him an extra ticket for being stupid.
