Bad timing (for him)

Not a huge kill but fun none the less, I had just finished setting the tuner to the highest setting figuring it would be fun to play around since I had cleaned out the 4 or 5 hundred pounds of tools and such that usualy ride around with me. Luck has it that the second light I hit out of the parking lot I just roll to a stop and look in the rear view to see a lifted truck comming on pretty quick behind me in the other lane. The light turned before he could come to a complete stop so he rolls by slow and I got on it a little to see if he wanted to play. As he went by I noticed it was a nice looking 06, 07 f150 lifted on 35's, and the girlfriend's foot was chillin through the open window resting on the mirror looking cool and all. I guess he saw what I was up to because when my front bumper got to his door he unleashed the fury of his 2" exhaust screaming into my ear. Luck had it that I was about 200 R's from the shift to third so foot to the floor no waiting for down shift and a quick spool up put his front bumper to the middle of my bed in about a second and a half. At that point he let off and so did I but he would'nt get within a hundred yards of me the rest of the way to my house.
So to sum up his bad timing, 1-just changed the tune, 2-I was looking for a race, 3-right gear right time, 4-picked a PSD to go up against to try to impress his girl, 5-I wasn't in the mood to peddle it to let him impress his girl even if he was driving a Ford.

Hope it was not too long and on a side note I love this site everyone on here seems to be extremely helpful and willing to answer any question no matter how simple or repetitive they are. I really appreciate that I can read through any thread and not have to read a bunch of posturing and bad mouthing without the mods shutting it down in a hurry. The only complaint I have is that I dont get enough sleep now
