07 d-max vs 97 7.3

ok my buddy just got a 07 d-max a few weeks ago. he got it when it just had exhaust. but now it has EFI live and some other small things and he keeps telling me how he would beat me in a drag race? do you think he would win? my truck has everything thats in my sig. but now its on propane and is a 4x4 now. i dk my HP but im around 400-maybe 500 im thinking

I don't think you'll take a EFI tuned LBZ D-Max.

Yeah, as much faith as I have in the ol 7.3, I doubt you are going to take the dirtymax with a good tune on it

iv smoked lbz with edge chips before. i no d-maxs with efi live are fast tho. i think im still gonna race him. but the funny thing is that we were messing around on the free way and i was pulling away from him. thats wy he wants to race me from a dead stop

efi dmaxs can run i think. But i see you have stage 3 injectors im guessing it might be a decent race

yes i have stage 3s but if i had a bigger hpop i bet i would get more out of them

Is his truck 4wd? Can he launch it very well? After readin over your sig again, I think if you do it from a dead stop you might have a chance.

You have a stealth HPOP thats what your sig says. Dont think you need much more HPOP that that.

I am assuming that the stage 3s are some sort of hybrid injector? Those can run on a stock 17 degree pump.

This race will be close it just depends on the size of your injectors and the nozzle size too.

my hpop is only a stealth stage 1 pump. they make them all the way to a stage 3. and ya there the stage 3s from rosewood
