Can't tell my story

I had the best experience today. Typed it onto the New Thread, and by the time I finished the story, the forum kindly told me I was just a visitor and could not post. I'm not a fast typist, and I tried it twice. I doubt it took longer than 4 or 5 minutes. Oh well, I'll just have to laugh all by myself (is that a sign of crazyness?)

No, honest I'm not teasing. I logged in, found the Kill Stories, and began telling my story. When I finished, and submitted the thread, it said You stupid man, you're just a visitor, you can't post (or something to that effect).
I'll have to find a way to hold that login a little longer.

After a couple of minutes of typing hit review post and then start typing again. If you idle for however many minutes I don't know it will log you out. I learned the hard way too!lol Sorry preview post.

You guys get logged out for idle?

I use Firefox and just leave a bunch of tabbed windows open even if Im not at my computer, it never logs me out I don't think?

I do always have just assumed that was normal. My guess is probobly 4-5 minutes if you step away from the puter or your just idle it logs me out. Its not a big deal only if your typing somthing long and im a slow typer you can lose everything if it logs you out.

We don't have an idle log out - not sure what's up. Do you have access to another pc you can try it on? We did an upgrade the other day so there may be some bugs but this is the first I've heard of that issue. The staff is here to help work through them though. It showed you were logged in and when you posted acted like you weren't?
