Ford vs. Dodge showdown

So, as some of you may know from reading a few of my past threads, me and a good friend of mine have a pretty good rivalry going - he`s a cummins lover (aka thinks they are the greatest thing since sliced bread and everything else is crap) and Im reppin` the 7.3. He`s always runnin his mouth about Ford.

The trucks:
His: `01 24-valve ECLB 4x4 auto, 100k miles, Edge Juice w/Attitude

Mine: `96 7.3 ECLB 4x4 auto, 205k miles, Beans stage 1 injectors and an Edge CS.

Stock for stock, I outran him, but only by about a half truck length. Once he put the edge juice on his, it really woke it up and I knew I didnt have a chance, so I didnt bother. But now that I have some real mods done to my truck and really woke it up, I feel I have a chance to run with him, if not outrun him.

So this weekend, Im hoping to line `em up and shut him up (or at least quite him down a little ). What do you guys think? Think I got him, or is he still gonna have the edge?

And please, keep the "take it to the track" or "you`re putting yourself and others in danger" comments to yourself. I know the risk associated with racing, especially in monsters like these. If I was too worried, I wouldnt do it! We are gonna race on smooth, empty, straight back roads we both know very well, and will probably only hit about 65 or 70, because by then my EGT`s will probably be too high to continue!

If he trys enough on level 5 he can actually slip his trans

It's useless giving him **** about his trans though, because every single time I do, he points out the fact that one of his friends cummins trannies is still going after 200k, and mine went at 177k. That's the only argument he has though
